This is such a classic film which I have loved since my early childhood. The characters are amazing and the soundtrack will stay with you for years to come. A family favorite for both halloween and christmas and any other occassion!
Not the best disney film and to be honest it's a bit of a disappointment after the fantastic 1st Cinderella film. There's not much of a story line and the film is broken up into a few short stories. However the kids will probably enjoy it.
Shirley valentine is a great film in which a married woman, who has children living away from home becomes involved in a life alone and bored at home as a house wife. Her husband wrapped up in his own world of going to work, coming home and waiting for his tea. Shirley goes back to remembering the good old days her and husband use to have and now this alone dose not keep her from searching for something more happier and exciting. So this takes on a jourany were shirley goes to greece to find her old self and her once youth. This film really makes you feel for shirley but also its true meaning that you dont have to travel to get back your happines. A delightfull film that wil leave you in tears of sadness and tears of happiness as shirley and joe begin their jourany.
I loved the orignal Shrek so much that this film was a must buy. However, while it is still quite fun it simply cannot live up to its predecessor. The story seems to be a rehash of the first film with Shrek's struggle for acceptance, the switch from ogre to human and donkey's antics. The multitude of fairy-tale characters in the first film seem a bit dull in this one. The Fairy Godmother and Prince Charming are wonderful but many of the other characters don't make the grade. The film is largely saved by Antonio Banderras' Puss in Boots. Overall it's quite nice and worth a watch, but does seem like just another sequel.
As someone else already mentioned...this is the standard by which all fishing films will be judged.
Its totaly unlike the usual, almost instructional fishing films from the likes of Matt Hayes and John Wilson. Its a whimsical, fairy tale film about two anglers and a fantastic cameraman, editor, director who follows them around. You really feel as if you are on the bank with them and you wish you were there.
My wife, who doesnt fish, loves these films, she says it reminds her of sitting down to bread and dripping on a sunday evening...she's only 35!
My advice...BUY IT, but dont by from here (sorry Amazon) buy it direct from the Passion for Angling website as this finances Hugh Miles (the director/cameraman) future projects. Just google "Passion for Angling".
This is a different kind of season to the first with some absolutely brilliant moments.
If you can overlook the fact (something you always have to with 24) that all big events happen on the hour then you will love the way each episode leaves you begging to watch more. Classic episodes all the way through.
Again there are twists and turns in this series too, if season 1 didn't make you trust noone then this one surely will.
I grew up watching only a few films and the Hunchback of Notre Dame was one of them.
I used to get my mam to rent it from the local video shop over and over again, and in the end the owner just ended up giving us the video.
Sadly, since my VHS player stopped working last year, i have had to convert all my videos onto DVD, which is a pain and costs money.
I think the Hunnchback of Notre Dame is an amazing story! Especially for children and especially for those growing up in the world today. I believe, and know, the moto to the story is dont be afraid of who you are, be proud. And since there's a lot of people today that are afraid to be themselves. I think this story is s good lesson!
The film has an amazing storyline..okay a little sad and it did & still does make me shed a tear but it's still a fantastic story!
I just cant wait till I get this film on DVD!!!
And..for those of you wondering, I am 18!
It doesnt matter how old you are, all that matters if you can relate to the characters and dont judge the sing-songs in the film!

Keli Roberts was the trainer in Cher's fitness videos (A New Attitude - Great, and Body Confidence - not so great). I've had this video for years and alternated between Cher, Kathy Smith and this one. It is quite challenging and I had to work up to be able to finish it. It's not that it is overly difficult but the moves are a little more challenging and there are less cool downs than in the Cher step section. I think it is good for beginners but will also suit the more intermediate/advanced. I am gutted bedause it is not availabe on DVD. I don't have a VHS player anymore so I haven't been able to use the video.
